What to expect

Mobile Acupuncture

  • Mobile acupuncture can be done on a chair, recliner, couch, or personal bed. 


  • The extra charge for treatments using a massage table are the for the time spent setting up, sanitization after use, and pack-up


  • Please either secure  any pets or chose an isolated room for treatment.


  • Be ready in loose, comfortable clothing.  Points on abdomen or upper thigh region will need to be accessible.


  • Be sure to have eat within 2 hours of your treatment.


  • Avoid heavy physical work, strenuous activity including sex, alcohol, or caffeine for 4 hours after your treatment.  


  • Drink plenty of fluids


  • When getting acupuncture you may experience either a slight feeling of heaviness or even a mild electrical sensation at the point of needling.


  • Acupuncture can be draining to some patients, make sure to give yourself time for recovery.


  • Gua Sha and Cupping can leave light bruising for up to a week.  It is a part of the healing process.


  • It is common to feel either a heavy sensation or a slight electrical sensation upon needle insertion.  This is your body reaction to treatment and the experience will vary from person to person.
